Base pay range

A$80,000.00/yr - A$95,000.00/yr

The Company

My client is a market leader in providing industrial solutions within the mechanical engineering space, serving clients across the mining and manufacturing sectors. As they continue to expand their presence in Sydney, they are seeking a driven and technically skilled Application Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Develop and propose tailored engineering solutions that address specific client needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of solutions
• Leverage in-depth product knowledge to exceed sales targets and deliver strong customer value
• Identify technical challenges and provide innovative, problem-solving solutions
• Present and demonstrate products to clients in a compelling and engaging manner

Qualifications & Requirements

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Proven technical aptitude and hands-on experience in a similar role
• 2–5+ years of sales experience, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Background in automation, manufacturing, machinery, or processing industries
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A current and valid driver’s license

Remuneration

A competitive salary package is on offer, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
