Job summary

UniSuper is seeking an Application Developer to contribute to the development, support, and maintenance of solutions on the Acurity platform. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver regulatory, product and business initiatives and improve member outcomes within UniSuper's strategic framework.

You will help design, develop, test and maintain Acurity solutions, while expanding your knowledge of the broader application landscape, and ensuring secure software development practices across

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise applications and platform solutions.
• Experience delivering software changes through the SDLC using Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with databases and SQL.
• Ability to develop, test and maintain application solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

In the role of Application Developer, you will have the opportunity to develop specialist Acurity expertise through hands-on delivery, mentoring and practical platform experience.

The role

As an Application Developer, you will contribute to the development, support and maintenance of solutions across UniSuper's Acurity platform and associated integrations. You will work alongside experienced team members to deliver regulatory, product and business initiatives that improve member outcomes and support UniSuper's strategic objectives. Furthermore, you will:

• Assist in delivering high-quality application solutions for regulatory, product and business initiatives.
• Assist with the design, development, testing and maintenance of Acurity solutions and associated integrations.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Acurity Architect, business processes and the broader application landscape.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and application support activities.

About you

You are an experienced software developer who is curious and motivated to develop specialist expertise in Acurity, fund administration systems and superannuation business processes. You bring strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality and learning and enjoy collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. In addition, you will bring:

• Experience developing enterprise applications, application platforms or proprietary development frameworks.
• Experience delivering software changes through the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with databases and SQL.
• Ability to develop, test and maintain application solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
