Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking a Senior Integration Architect to lead MuleSoft and Salesforce integrations across multiple platforms. The role requires hands‑on integration work, architecture documentation, and governance engagement in a Federal Government context.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in integration development or architecture, strong MuleSoft/Salesforce/iPaaS expertise, and proven ability to design RESTful APIs and supporting artefacts.

A major Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Architect with strong Salesforce, MuleSoft, iPaaS and REST API expertise. You will design and implement secure, scalable integration solutions that connect enterprise platforms, enhance the agency's digital capabilities to improve customer engagement. This role combines hands-on integration expertise with architecture documentation, stakeholder engagement, and representation at technical governance forums.

The Role

• Design, develop and support integration solutions using MuleSoft, iPaaS and REST APIs.
• Design integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications and platforms.
• Work with business, architecture, delivery, and vendor teams to gather and analyse integration requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed integration designs and technical solutions.
• Develop and consume secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Create detailed architecture artefacts, integration specifications, and technical documentation.
• Present proposed solutions to architecture review boards and technical governance forums.
• Implement and maintain integrations that meet security, performance, reliability and scalability requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide timely support to stakeholders.

• Manage competing priorities within a complex and rapidly changing delivery environment.
• Monitor emerging integration technologies, practices, and architectural patterns.

About You

• Three to five years' experience in integration development or architecture.
• Strong experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce, iPaaS and REST API integrations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience producing detailed, practical, and consumable architecture artefacts.
• Confidence presenting technical designs to architecture review boards and governance forums.
• Strong integration design, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technology vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-changing environment.
• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with JSON and XML integration formats.
• Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud experience (multi-cloud environment no on-prem)
• Salesforce, MuleSoft or broader architecture certification
• Understanding of specification-driven development and its application to AI adoption.
• Experience embedding AI-assisted practices within software development or integration delivery.
