Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing APIs with Java/Spring Boot.
• Ability to work across teams (engineers, architects, security, platform).
• Familiarity with containerised/cloud environments (OpenShift/AWS).
• Understanding of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and supporting domain APIs using Java, Spring Boot and established API standards.
• Applying reusable API patterns to deliver scalable and maintainable services.
• Building automated testing and CI/CD practices into delivery to support quality and resilience.
• Engineering APIs with observability, monitoring, and performance in mind.
• Deploying and supporting APIs across OpenShift and AWS environments.
• Integrating APIs with identity and access management solutions for secure auth.
