Job summary

Red Hawk Casino is seeking an Entertainment Center Supervisor to lead on a daily basis, working with managers to guide hourly staff, training, and enforcing service standards. The role emphasizes guest relations, safety, sanitation and adherence to policies while supporting cost controls and environment management.

The supervisor will model ownership, motivate staff, and take an active part in recruitment, while ensuring high levels of service and a premier guest experience across entertainment

Responsibilities

• Maximize daily sales while effectively managing costs, labor and cash control.
• Maintain opening, running and closing duties for the department.
• Ensure staff morale remains high and assist with staff training and relations.
• Engage with guests on the floor to enhance guest relations and service quality.
• Lead special events and provide feedback on staff performance.

Job description

The Entertainment Center Supervisor position will be responsible for the assisting the Managers of the facility with leading on a daily basis including, staffing and training of all hourly staff, cost control, service standards, operational procedures and policies, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, cash handling, staff motivation and safety and security. The Supervisor must be the leader of the shift with the managers and create an environment that encourages ownership and accountability. Supervisors are expected to maintain the quality and ethical standards set by Red Hawk.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily operations: staffing, scheduling, labor, repair and maintenance, cleanliness, organization, service timing and quality of products.
• Accountable to maximize daily sales and effectively manage costs, labor and cash control
• Maintain opening, running and closing duties for department
• Manage organization and cleanliness of departmental areas
• Responsible to take proactive approach to guest relations, including time spent on floor interacting with guests, table visits, etc.
• Ensures the highest level of quality and standards of service.
• Responsible for all aspects of guest relations and the quality of experience delivered to the guest, i.e. product, timing, service, entertainment, excitement, etc.
• Empowers staff to deliver exceptional legendary service
• Executes any special events
• Responsible to provide management with direct and honest feedback of staff regarding performance
• Assist with staff training and employee relations
• Assures that staff morale is maintained at a high level
• Takes an active part in the recruitment and retention of staff
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience in high volume Family Entertainment Center Business
• Interest and/or knowledge of motor sports
• Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage staff
• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions and judgement in keeping with the level of the position
• Maintain all safety procedures
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
• Sensitivity to confidentiality. Use of discretion regarding personal and confidential employee matters

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
• The ability to communicate quickly and accurately
• The work environment may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
• Be able to understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times
