Job summary

R/GA is seeking a Director Talent, APAC on a 12-month maternity cover contract to lead talent strategy across the APAC region, partnering with the CEO, APAC and the SVP Global ED, Talent on global initiatives. You will focus on leadership development, succession planning, culture-driven engagement, and data-driven workforce planning to drive performance and retention.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a Talent Partner, Human Resources, or HR Business Partnering role.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Experience building trust with executive and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support organisational business planning and strategy with the CEO, APAC and Exec Director Finance, APAC & Office MD's.
• Collaborate with SVP, Global Exec Director of Talent to implement Global talent initiatives within APAC.
• Act as a change agent, influencing stakeholders to drive new and industry-leading initiatives with external market insights.
• Coach senior business leaders, championing people strategies and sharing best practice within the talent team and business.
• Lead organisational change management initiatives and support leaders as needed.
• Serve as a strategic partner to leaders on managing internal conflicts, development opportunities and complex employee relations issues.
• Support Learning & Development across APAC, including employee engagement activities, management development and team development.
• Drive career development and equal opportunities for direct reports, including stretch projects and empowerment.
