Job summary

DTEX Systems is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to drive modernization of infrastructure and operations. You will design automation, implement IaC best practices, and build resilient systems for scalable customer environments.

You will contribute to provisioning pipelines, monitoring, and incident response while promoting SRE culture and software engineering practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing production environments in AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong Python expertise with ability to write clean, testable code to solve infrastructure problems.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible and/or Saltstack for infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency with Git and modern collaboration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain Python software to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management of our infrastructure.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement and mature monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively improve system reliability.
• Participate in a follow the sun on-call rotation, focusing on sustainable incident response, blameless postmortems, and driving continuous improvement.
• Champion SRE principles, automation, and coding best practices within the team and across the organization.
