Vercel Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture to lead our APAC Solutions Architect team from Sydney.

You will drive technical excellence across pre- and post-sales, mentor engineers, and partner with sales leadership to win new business and grow existing accounts. You will mentor and scale a high-performing team, oversee regional staffing and budgeting, and collaborate closely with engineering to feed product feedback.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Solutions Architecture/Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-sales roles.
• 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Strong background in web technologies (Next.js, React, Node.js, APIs, cloud infrastructure).
• Experience with enterprise and commercial customers.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and frontend frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive customer success.

Responsabilités

• Lead, develop, and manage an APAC SA team, including training and career development.
• Ensure technical excellence across the pre and post sales cycle.
• Provide hands-on support for key accounts (presentations, architecture reviews, migration plans).
• Oversee and coach SA engagement on strategic accounts and critical deals.
• Partner with engineering to provide product feedback from the field.
• Develop repeatable plays from team findings.
• Track and report SA performance to Sales and Field Engineering leadership.
• Own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and regional recruiting.
