Job summary

State Street in Sydney is seeking a Regional Settlement/Payment Risk Credit Officer to monitor and approve APAC settlement credit exposures, escalate risks, and support risk governance in a dynamic environment.

You will collaborate with FLOD, Credit Risk, and Client Services, make credit decisions within delegated authority, and help ensure compliance with policies while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong credit analysis experience, with focus on settlement/payment risks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Global monitoring and approval of settlement credit exposures for the APAC region.
• Assess availability of funding by end-of-day based on evidence or confirmation.
• Evaluate the risk rationale for approving exceptions and communicate to business lines.
• Review and approve Daylight Overdrafts in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
• Coordinate with FLOD and RMCOE on large overdrafts and risk reporting.
• Maintain compliance with State Street risk policies and ERM controls.
