Job summary

Vantage in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Senior Director, Projects & Programs to lead APAC strategic initiatives and the PMO. You will partner with senior leaders to plan, govern and deliver cross‑functional programs across multiple countries, ensuring accountability and business outcomes.

The role requires guiding executive reporting, program governance and rapid decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment, with a focus on scalable processes and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership or related disciplines.
• Experience delivering complex, cross‑functional programs in a multinational environment.
• Strong governance, portfolio management and project delivery framework knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience operating in fast‑growing, dynamic organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of APAC's highest‑priority strategic initiatives and scale M&A.
• Partner with business leaders to define objectives, plans, timelines and success measures.
• Establish milestones, accountability and reporting to ensure delivery.
• Monitor progress and address risks, dependencies and roadblocks.
• Report progress of strategic programs to management and board.
• Lead and evolve the APAC PMO with standards, tools and methodologies.
• Drive governance, reporting and decision‑making across the program portfolio.
• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate alignment across stakeholders, teams and workstreams.
