Vantage Data Centers Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Director, Projects & Programs to lead the APAC PMO and oversee strategic programs across the region. The role reports to the Chief of Staff, President’s Office and partners with senior leaders to ensure initiatives are well-governed and delivered on time.

The candidate will drive program governance, reporting, and business insights, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes realized across multiple countries and stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in program management or PMO leadership.
• Proven success delivering complex, cross-functional programs in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of program governance, portfolio management and project delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience operating in fast-growing, dynamic organisations including M&A projects.

The Senior Director, Projects & Programs plays a critical role in helping APAC deliver its most important business priorities. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, President’s Office this leader is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of strategic programs and initiatives across the region while leading the APAC Program Management Office (PMO). This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering closely with senior leaders across the business to ensure initiatives are appropriately planned, governed and delivered. The successful candidate will help bring structure, visibility and accountability to key programs, enabling teams to execute effectively and achieve meaningful business outcomes. The ideal candidate is an experienced program leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple countries and stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of APAC's highest-priority strategic initiatives and scale M&A.
• Partner with business leaders to define program objectives, delivery plans, timelines and success measures.
• Establish clear milestones, accountability and reporting mechanisms to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor program progress and proactively address risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks.
• Support leaders in driving initiatives from planning through implementation and realization of business outcomes.
• Report progress of strategic programs to management and board.

APAC Program Management Office (PMO)

• Lead and evolve the APAC PMO, establishing consistent standards, tools and methodologies across the region.
• Develop best practices for project and program delivery that enable scalability and transparency.
• Drive effective governance, reporting and decision-making processes across the program portfolio.
• Foster a culture of strong program management discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate alignment across multiple stakeholders, teams and workstreams.
• Build strong working relationships that enable collaboration and effective decision-making.
• Support resolution of issues that require coordination across functional boundaries.

Executive Reporting & Business Insights

• Develop high-quality executive updates, dashboards and program reporting materials.
• Provide clear and actionable insights regarding program performance, risks and opportunities.
• Support leadership reviews and business planning processes with data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure stakeholders have timely access to relevant information to support decision-making.

Qualifications

Experience 12+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, business operations, consulting or related disciplines with M&A project experience Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional programs in a multinational environment Strong understanding of program governance, portfolio management and project delivery frameworks Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority Excellent communication, presentation and executive stakeholder management skills Experience operating in fast-growing, dynamic organisations
