Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to support regulatory matters for its satellite constellation initiative. The position can be based in Singapore or Sydney, Australia, with some travel to APAC regions.

You will handle regulatory filings in the Asia Pacific region and work closely with technical, regulatory, business, and legal teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of legal experience, a law degree, and bar admission, with a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience.
• Law degree and admission to relevant bar association.
• Experience mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
• Experience with satellite communications and regulatory filings.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, oral).
• Background in technology law, telecommunications law, regulatory matters, or international business matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory filings in the Asia Pacific region.
• Analyse complex and high-visibility regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with technical, regulatory, business, and other legal teams.
• Learn the technical details of the satellite constellation and related infrastructure.
• Strategise with regulators to benefit customers, especially in underserved communities.
