APAC IT Director: Strategy, Security & Transformation

Job summary

Balt is seeking an IT Director APAC to lead all information technology activities across the Asia-Pacific region, aligning with global strategy and regional priorities. This role may build a regional team to support business development and requires strong cross-cultural leadership and strategic thinking.

The incumbent will drive enterprise platforms deployment (ERP, CRM, eQMS, data analytics) and champion automation while traveling 50% to APAC subsidiaries, the U.S. and France as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or related field is required.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred to support strategic IT leadership.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in an international organization is expected.
• Experience in matrix organizations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional IT roadmap aligned with Business & IT priorities.
• Serve as trusted advisor to APAC executive leadership and translate objectives into tech initiatives.
• Define and implement IT KPIs for APAC and coordinate delivery with global teams.
• Lead deployment of ERP, CRM, Quality Systems, Data & Analytics, and collaboration tools in APAC.
• Drive automation, digitalization and AI-enabled solutions with Global Corporate support.
