Job summary

STACK Infrastructure seeks a Senior Grid Connection Manager to lead the technical grid connection process for large-scale data centre developments across Australia. You will own feasibility through energisation, coordinating with AEMO, VicGrid, TNSPs/DNSPs, consultants and STACK teams to deliver robust, compliant connection solutions.

You will define study programmes, review modeling outputs, and translate complex technical results into clear business recommendations while ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years’ relevant experience in power systems, electricity networks, data centres or major electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with Australian grid-connection processes including AEMO, VicGrid, and/or TNSPs/DNSPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical grid connection process for large-scale data centre developments from feasibility through energisation.
• Manage technical engagement with AEMO, VicGrid, TNSPs and DNSPs, including submissions, information requests, reviews and approvals.
• Define and manage the power-system study programme (load-flow, fault-level, dynamic, EMT, harmonic, power-quality, system-strength studies).
• Coordinate development and validation of facility models representing the data centre electrical system.
• Lead engagement and technical management of consultants, power-system engineers, testing specialists and OEM resources.
