Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer for APAC Data Centers. You will lead electrical design across the APAC portfolio, from concept through construction, handover, and commissioning, working with multi-disciplinary teams and vendors to deliver reliable, scalable power infrastructure.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent, or 10+ years in electrical engineering, with Chartered Engineer or Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Cross-discipline design coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for data centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of data centers across APAC.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to produce coordinated drawings.
• Review equipment submittals and support construction phases.
• Coordinate with utilities and regulators to ensure IEC/APAC code compliance.
• Support commissioning and handover of electrical systems.
• Apply cost-effective design concepts without compromising reliability.
