Job summary

Ambition Recruitment is seeking a proactive accounts professional in Sydney to support day‑to‑day accounting duties under a Finance Manager. The role offers flexibility with 1–2 days WFH, hybrid working, and parking on site, promoting a supportive culture and work‑life balance.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in accounting, a relevant degree, and experience across AP/AR and payroll, with strong attention to detail and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Degree or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting.
• Experience across AP, AR and payroll is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivables.
• Invoice processing, payments and reconciliations.
• Invoicing, receipting and collections follow-ups.
• Assisting with payroll processing and employee setup.
• Bank reconciliations and month-end support.
• Maintain accurate financial records and databases.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and provide finance support.
• Assist with ad hoc administrative duties.
