Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Senior Policy Advisor (AO6) for a 12-month contract with a Queensland Government agency in Brisbane CBD, with a potential hybrid arrangement. The role provides strategic policy advice, performs complex research, and prepares executive briefing materials.

You will engage with government, regulatory and industry stakeholders to support evidence-based decision-making, policy outcomes and policy development.

Qualifications

$82.94 - $88.57 per hour + Super

We are partnering with a Queensland Government agency to recruit an experienced Senior Policy Advisor (AO6) for a 12-month contract opportunity within a high-performing policy team. This role will suit a policy professional with experience providing strategic advice, conducting complex research and analysis, preparing executive-level briefing materials, and engaging with a diverse range of government, regulatory and industry stakeholders. Working on complex and often sensitive policy matters, you will contribute to the development, implementation and review of policy initiatives that support evidence-based decision-making and operational outcomes.
