Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a senior sales/technical professional to manage major accounts in Australia. The role involves understanding client needs, building strong relationships with key customers, and resolving issues through effective communication.

You will provide technical support for customer issues and new product introductions, collaborate with Technical teams to propose fitting solutions, and ensure timely delivery of products and services while forecasting demand.

Qualifications

• FORMAL EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or above is required; degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
• KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of relevant Sales/Technical experience is required; good communication and writing skills are preferred; good understanding of Microsoft software; good understanding of database systems.

Responsibilities

• Developing a complete understanding of key account needs.
• Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and the company.
• Resolving key client issues and complaints through effective communication within Sherwin-Williams and customers.
• Provide technical support to assist with customer issues and new product introductions.
• Expand relationships with existing customers by working with Technical to propose solutions that meet objectives and support line investigations.
• Work with team members to ensure correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner, including forecasting based on customer information and usage.
• Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members.
• Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management.
• Study the market and look for new opportunities.
