Job summary

AWS Australia is seeking an AI Sales Specialist to work with government customers across Australia and New Zealand, translating AI capabilities into public value while ensuring safe, scalable adoption.

You will own a defined ANZ territory, set strategy to maximize AI impact, advise on Responsible AI, model choices and commercial terms, and design solutions tailored to public sector needs. A cross-disciplinary team collaborates to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 7+ years of technology sales experience.
• Familiarity of frontier models. Using and managing them in production or research settings.
• Experience with explaining complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders.
• Experience with developing, progressing, and closing commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined territory within the ANZ business, taking direct responsibility for a set of customers, pipeline and outcomes.
• Set the strategy for your territory, determining where AI will deliver the greatest value for government.
• Advise customers on Responsible AI, model choice and commercial considerations (Tokenomics).
• Design and propose solutions to Public Sector customers which considers their unique needs
• Work closely with Account Managers, specialists, solutions architecture, professional services and partners to drive coordinated outcomes for your public sector customers.
