Amazon Web Services (AWS) in ANZ seeks an AI Specialist for the Worldwide Public Sector to help governments across Australia and New Zealand harness Artificial Intelligence to deliver better outcomes for citizens.

You will own a territory, set strategy, advise on Responsible AI and design tailored solutions with cross-functional teams to drive public sector value.

We are seeking an AI Sales Specialist who brings strong technical AI knowledge together with a customer-centric, outcome-focused approach. In this role you will partner closely with government customers to understand their goals, translate complex AI capabilities into clear public value, and support safe, successful AI adoption at scale.

Key job responsibilities

• Own a defined territory within the ANZ business, taking direct responsibility for a set of customers, pipeline and outcomes.
• Set the strategy for your territory, determining where AI will deliver the greatest value for government
• Advise customers on Responsible AI, model choice and commercial considerations (Tokenomics)
• Design and propose solutions to Public Sector customers which considers their unique needs
• Work closely with Account Managers, specialists, solutions architecture, professional services and partners to drive coordinated outcomes for your public sector customers.
