Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Payroll Solutions Partner – ANZ to bring expert local payroll knowledge and collaborate across HR Services to deliver a seamless, high-quality payroll experience for our employees in Australia and New Zealand.

You will partner with overseas teams and local staff to address payroll queries, support accurate payroll processing, and drive process improvements that enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll operations, legislation and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Workday, ADP Payroll solutions and SAP leave and payroll.
• Strong analytical capability and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to partnering across HR, Finance, vendors and business teams.
• Strong ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive projects and system enhancements through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with overseas payroll teams and local employees to manage payroll queries promptly with a focus on service excellence.
• Provide trusted ANZ payroll expertise, ensuring employees and stakeholders receive accurate support.
• Build strong partnerships with ADP, HR, Finance and global service teams to deliver an effective payroll experience.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve ways of working and enhance the employee experience.
• Contribute to HR Services projects, system enhancements and knowledge sharing to build capability and drive continuous improvement.
