Job summary

Sonder Executive is partnering with a global FMCG client to appoint a Head of Engineering for ANZ. You will lead a multi-site capital engineering function across Australia and New Zealand, owning the long-term master plan and the technology roadmap that underpins the network.

You will report to regional leadership, drive cross-functional collaboration, governance and safety, and oversee a substantial capital program.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leader with multi-site capital experience
• Proven track record delivering long-range capital and technology strategies
• Experience integrating and standardising engineering governance across sites
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and shape regional strategy

Responsibilities

• Own the master plan for ANZ manufacturing footprint and five-to-ten year capacity outlook
• Lead technology and capability agenda, including asset standardisation and sustainability
• Contribute to regional Engineering Leadership Team and ANZ Supply leadership Team
• Integrate capital systems, governance and project management across the network
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Safety and Commercial to align engineering with site strategy
• Hold accountability for the ANZ capital portfolio, >$50M AUD annually
• Lead capital project reviews and risk management across the portfolio
• Develop and coach a multi-site engineering team and contractors
• Serve as senior escalation point for engineering matters at sites
