Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a high-energy communications professional to lead integrated communications in Australia and New Zealand. You will craft internal and executive narratives, inform and engage audiences, and drive growth through compelling stories and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or Marketing preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, internal or executive communications.
• Strong writing and content production skills.
• Experience working with senior business and thought leaders.
• A creative thinker with trends across marketing, advertising, PR, social media, and executive/employee communications.
• Ability to lead, collaborate and influence in a matrixed organization with multiple project teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute an internal communications plan for regional leaders that informs local employees of strategy and impact.
• Oversee PR and social media activities for regional leaders.
• Develop and distribute leaders' communications across multiple channels and formats (text, digital, video, live events).
• Create compelling business and thought leadership content capturing leaders’ voices authentically.
• Partner with leadership, field marketing, and global teams to pitch to local media and manage agency relationships.
