Qualifikationen

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in aged care.
• Demonstrated leadership coordinating clinical teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Standards and accreditation.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and safe care.
• Management qualifications or leadership training is valued.

Aufgaben

• Support the Nurse Unit Manager in day-to-day leadership of Residential Services.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality, person-centred care and oversee clinical operations on each shift.
• Act as Nurse Unit Manager during periods of leave or absence.
• Provide leadership and clinical mentoring to nursing staff.
• Promote quality improvement, risk management and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team for outcomes.
• Contribute to staff education, orientation and development.
