Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead a dedicated care unit, oversee clinical care, and support staff to deliver compassionate, person-centred care to residents. You will supervise nurses and care staff, develop care plans, manage medications, and maintain strong family communications.

Applicants must be a registered nurse with AHPRA, have 3+ years in aged care, and demonstrate leadership and knowledge of accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• This role requires current AHPRA registration and senior nursing experience in aged care.
• Proven leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Knowledge of ANNAC standards and aged care accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care delivery for a specific unit with a focus on high-quality, person-centred care.
• Lead and supervise a team of nurses, carers and support staff.
