Healthscope Hospitals is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) for the Ambleside Medical Ward at Knox Private Hospital. The role focuses on clinical leadership, coordinating patient care and supporting a high‑performing nursing team in a busy medical ward.

You will partner with the Nurse Unit Manager to drive safe, evidence‑based care, mentor staff and optimise patient flow while maintaining a culture of excellence in patient‑centred care.

Qualificações

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated clinical experience within an acute medical nursing environment.
• Leadership experience or a strong desire to develop leadership capability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based and patient-focused care.
• Ability to effectively support, mentor and engage nursing staff.
• Sound clinical decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership alongside the Nurse Unit Manager.
• Coordinate patient care and ensure delivery of safe, high‑quality nursing services.
• Support day‑to‑day ward operations and monitor patient flow.
• Coach and develop ward staff to foster a culture of excellence in patient‑centred care.
• Promote a positive environment that supports multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Assist in staff mentoring and performance development within Ambleside Medical Ward.
