Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to design, build, and validate phased array antenna hardware for the satellite constellation. You will develop circuits, test boards, and bring up hardware in the lab, working with RF, firmware, and test engineers to ensure performance targets are met and the hardware can be deployed in orbit.

This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, hands-on lab experience with RF and analog/digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with analog, digital, power, or RF circuit design and debugging.
• Familiarity with schematic capture or PCB design tools.
• Experience using electronics/test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
• Preferred: Master's degree and RF/mixed-signal design exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design circuits and boards for antenna subsystems and test hardware.
• Bring up new boards and prototypes in the lab and debug power, clocking, and RF signals.
• Characterize hardware using test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, meters).
• Write test plans and run validations to verify requirements.
• Use Linux-based tools to operate phased array during bring-up and test.
• Analyze results, identify root causes, drive design fixes.
• Collaborate with RF, firmware, and test engineers for integration.
• Support production by investigating hardware failures in manufacturing test.
• Document designs, test procedures, and results.
