Glitch Productions in Australia is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our tech team as the first line of technical support for our artists and staff, keeping hardware, software, and infrastructure running smoothly so the studio can keep creating without interruption.

This hands-on role covers day-to-day troubleshooting, hardware repairs, user accounts, network security, and the specialised creative software our artists rely on, including Maya, Unreal, Toon Boom, and the rest of our

Qualifications

• Hands-on desktop support experience in a studio or creative environment.
• Familiarity with common design/production software pipelines (Maya, Unreal, Toon Boom).
• Ability to manage user accounts and security in a corporate network.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues on-site and to global teams.
• Repair and maintenance of office hardware and AV equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot CG/animation software suites.
• Manage User accounts and Group Policies on Active Directory.
• Maintain cybersecurity measures for staff and company accounts.
• Record inventory of software and hardware and create/update helpdesk docs.
