Job summary

hipages Group is seeking a senior Analytics Engineer to scale our data platform and analytics capabilities. You will design and deploy end-to-end data models and data products, mentoring a craft pod of two engineers while aligning with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing and Commercial teams.

You will drive data quality, governance, and self-serve analytics using dbt, Databricks and Tableau, shaping our data contracts and semantic layers for reliable decision-making.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL with experience designing and building scalable data architectures (Kimball, Data Vault).
• Hands-on mastery of dbt and enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience defining or enforcing Data Contracts and governing semantic layers in BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and line-manage a team of Analytics Engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Define standards for reproducibility, observability, and data handbook contributions.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable data models in dbt and Databricks; ensure integration with BI tools.
