Job summary

hipages is seeking a senior analytics engineer to lead a craft pod of three engineers, shaping analytics engineering practices, data models and self‑serve capabilities within our data platform. You will mentor 2 Analytics Engineers and partner with across Product, Engineering and Commercial teams.

The role focuses on dbt, Databricks and Tableau, implementing CI/CD, data contracts, and scalable architectures to support the commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced SQL with scalable data architecture design experience.
• Hands‑on mastery of dbt and strong experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience defining data contracts and governing semantic layers.
• Proven ability to govern analytics across BI tools like Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and line‑manage a team of 2 Analytics Engineers.
• Shape analytics engineering practices, reproducibility and data handbook.
• Architect scalable data models in dbt and Databricks with cross‑functional partners.
• Define data contracts between producers and downstream models.
• Apply CI/CD, testing, and governance to deliver reliable data products.
