TheDriveGroup is seeking a senior data engineering leader to lead a high-performing team delivering a modern cloud-based analytics platform used by a global customer base. You’ll own delivery across a critical product area, balancing innovation with stability while operating at meaningful scale.

You’ll join a global, product-led SaaS environment embedding AI into how software is built and delivered, with scope to influence engineering practices and uplift team capability.

Qualifications

• Senior Data/Analytics Engineer moving into leadership
• 2+ years in engineering or data team management
• Improve delivery quality and speed through technical and process changes
• Strong experience with distributed systems and data at scale
• Hands-on with Databricks and Snowflake
• Experience planning and delivering in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication across global, distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of data engineers
• Own delivery across a modern data platform in a Scrum environment
• Partner with Product and Design to turn goals into clear execution plans
• Balance feature delivery, platform improvements, and technical debt
• Drive engineering quality across code, testing, and system design
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of data systems
• Embed AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity and outcomes
• Collaborate across teams in a distributed environment
