Hassett Group in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to advance our data and analytics platform. You will design scalable data models, craft reliable ELT pipelines and shape semantic models for analytics and reporting.

The role sits at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence, using Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Power BI to transform core systems into trusted datasets for decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience as Analytics/BI engineer or similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL and dimensional modeling capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data models across Microsoft Fabric.
• Build transformation and ELT processes from core systems.
• Design dimensional models and reusable analytical datasets.
• Develop and maintain semantic models for Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Improve data quality, governance and development standards.
• Support CI/CD and ongoing data platform evolution.
