Mazda Australia is hiring a Vehicle Operations Specialist to move new vehicles from ship to showroom. You will coordinate shipping, monitor schedules and drive improvements across the distribution network, working with dealers, logistics partners and internal teams.

The role emphasizes analytics, collaboration and timely deliveries, with on-site work five days a week at the Mulgrave office. A business or commerce background and 3+ years experience are preferred, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce (ideal but not essential).
• At least three years of business experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate new vehicle shipping, stock processing, transport bookings and wholesaling to support timely deliveries across Mazda’s national dealer network.
• Monitor shipping schedules, vessel arrivals and vehicle movements; provide updates to dealerships and internal stakeholders.
• Analyse operational data and report on KPIs including on-time delivery and transit performance.
• Build relationships with dealerships, shipping lines, port operators and logistics providers to resolve challenges.
• Maintain accurate vehicle records, monitor system performance and support stocktakes and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting to drive efficiency.
