Job summary

Jetstar Airways in Melbourne is seeking an Analytics Developer to build and support data products in Skywise Foundry and Power BI, delivering dashboards, applications and data pipelines for Engineering teams.

You will translate stakeholder needs into scalable reports, design data models with M and DAX, and manage ingestion from Skywise/Foundry, Oracle TRAX and SharePoint. Strong SQL, Python/PySpark and Git skills are valued; flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in CS/DS/Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years' analytics development, BI or data engineering experience.
• Hands-on Power BI with Power Query and DAX.
• Working knowledge of SQL.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reports.
• Design, build and optimise data models, measures and calculations with Power Query and DAX.
• Build Skywise/Foundry datasets, transforms and applications.
• Ingest data from Skywise/Foundry, Oracle TRAX and SharePoint sources.
• Write SQL and Python/PySpark transforms to shape data.
• Support UAT and document data models and pipelines.
• Document data models, pipelines, and report dependencies.
