Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is seeking a Data Analyst and Engineer to build data pipelines and deliver insights for World360 Rewards in South Bank, QLD. You will craft data infrastructure and generate accurate reporting to influence loyalty strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in CS/SWE or related field.
• 4+ years delivering analytics in retail or customer-facing environments.
• Experience measuring loyalty program performance.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud ETL tools and Azure DevOps.
• Strong SQL, descriptive analytics, reporting, and Power BI skills.
• Databricks and Microsoft Azure certifications desirable.
• Ability to work across data, technology, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot data issues and implement solutions to maintain operations.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance compliance.
• Champion data-driven thinking across loyalty, brand, and business teams.
• Create data models to support analytics needs.
• Optimise data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with technology teams to support automation.
• Integrate data from internal and external systems for a unified view.
• Partner with stakeholders to support data-driven decisions and KPI optimisation.
• Analyse and report loyalty metrics and KPIs.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ETL to data lakes/lakehouse.
• Contribute to an inclusive, safe workplace.
