Northern Sydney Local Health District – Frenchs Forest NSW is seeking experienced anaesthetic nurses to join our perioperative team. Both permanent full‑time and part‑time roles are available, 38 hours per week, remuneration $1,566.70 - $2,199.60 per week.

You’ll work closely with anaesthetists to prepare patients for procedures, assist during induction and monitoring, and support recovery in the PACU, while upholding NSW Health standards and participating in quality initiatives.

Formación

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
• A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Understanding of professional, ethical and legal requirements for Registered Nurses.

Responsabilidades

• As anaesthetic nurse, assist with induction and maintenance of anaesthesia and monitor patient safety.
• Manage specialised equipment and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Support recovery in post‑anaesthesia care and collaborate with perioperative teams.
• Contribute to quality improvement, education, research and accreditation activities.
