Job summary

Healthscope's Nepean Private Hospital, located in Penrith, NSW, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Anaesthetics team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will work within a modern perioperative unit, supporting high-quality patient care across several specialties, with flexible rostering and a collaborative team environment.

The role requires 2 years of RN experience in Anaesthetic Nursing, current AHPRA registration, and Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ RN experience in Anaesthetic Nursing with experience in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, ENT and general surgery.
• Authority to Work in Australia.
• Working with Children check.
• Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
• Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, research-based standards of nursing care.
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care.
• Deliver education and support to individuals for health recovery or end-of-life needs.
• Lead quality improvement and safety projects to achieve outcomes.
• Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to support patient needs.
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice.
