Job summary

Healthscope Hospitals in Sydney is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Anaesthetics team at Nepean Private Hospital. Full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible rostering to suit your lifestyle, within a supportive perioperative team.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care in anaesthetics, supervise ENs and AINs, provide patient education, participate in quality improvement and work collaboratively with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ RN experience in Anaesthetic Nursing in perioperative settings.
• Authority to Work in Australia and Working with Children check.
• Current Registration with AHPRA; compliance with ACQSHC standards.
• Ability to deliver high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, researched‑based standards of nursing care
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
• Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
