Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking an administrative support professional to join the Ambulatory Care Service at Campbelltown Hospital. You will contribute to safe, timely, and patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role is temporary part-time, with a strong emphasis on organisation, communication, and accurate record-keeping in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office applications and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy across multiple systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Support the team to provide safe and timely patient care.
• Work with nurses, doctors, pharmacy, pathology and other hospital teams
• Help organise daily tasks, supplies, patient records and appointments
• Support staff rostering, reporting, meetings and general administration.
• Be part of a friendly team that helps the Ambulatory Care Service run smoothly.
