Job summary

Telum Media in Sydney is seeking an ambitious Business Development Associate to join our Sydney Sales Team. You will drive growth through outbound prospecting, respond to inbound inquiries, qualify opportunities, and articulate Telum's value to potential clients.

You will build a robust sales pipeline, conduct discovery calls, progress opportunities, and hand over new clients to Client Management, with ongoing coaching and targets to achieve success.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service or another customer-facing role.
• Confidence conducting sales-related calls or pitches.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work towards targets.
• Willingness to learn, receive coaching and improve.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective clients and new business opportunities.
• Generate outbound leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Respond to and qualify inbound sales enquiries.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand each prospect's needs and challenges.
• Present and demonstrate Telum Media's products and value.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects.
• Prepare proposals and support contract negotiations.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.
• Keep CRM records and sales activities accurate and up to date.
• Ensure a smooth handover of new clients to the Client Management team.
