Job summary

Dynamic Staffing Solutions is seeking an Aluminium Fabricator for our Braeside facility. The role involves assembling custom aluminium extrusion products and MIG welding, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

You will read drawings, operate aluminium saw and milling machines, use hand and power tools, and contribute to daily production requirements in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience welding aluminium and fabricating extrusion components.
• MIG welding experience on aluminium.
• Use of basic hand-tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings; work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom aluminium extrusion products.
• MIG weld aluminium components for exhibition/event applications.
• Operate basic tools and measuring devices.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets.
• Sand, cut, and mill as required and interpret drawings.

Job description

This is an industry-leading aluminium fabrication company that stands out for its specialisation in creating custom extrusions, resulting in a wide range of high-quality aluminium products.

Located in Braeside, we are looking for an Aluminium Fabricator to complement their team in an ongoing temporary to permanent position which will lead to full-time after a successful probation period.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assembly of custom-made aluminium extrusion products
• MIG welding of aluminium products i.e., exhibition events industry
• Use of basic hand-tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Working in a team to assist with daily production requirements
• Sanding, operate aluminium saw, milling machine and interpret drawings

Qualifications & Experience

• Weld components to a high-quality standard and in a safe manner
• Confidence in MIG welding, measurements, accuracy, and assembly skills
• Positive attitude with an eye for detail with the ability to work in a team
• Weld aluminium from 1.6mm - 10mm mostly extrusions

Ideally the suitable candidate will have recent experience with MIG welding of aluminium products or components in a manufacturing environment.
