Job summary

Ballarat Community Health is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support clients in participating in prescribed exercise programs and to help build independence under the direction of an Exercise Physiologist.

You will monitor client responses during activity, provide feedback to the treating clinician, assist with health coaching, connect clients with suitable groups and document case notes accurately as part of a funded service.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
• Interest in exercise and wellbeing.
• Positive, respectful and caring approach to working with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of exercise programs to individual and group clients under the direction of an Exercise Physiologist.
• Monitor clients during exercise and provide feedback to the treating Exercise Physiologist.
• Assist with health coaching and connecting clients with suitable support groups and health and wellbeing programs.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation.
