Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland’s BlueCare Bundaberg Allied Health team is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support senior professionals and help run the department. You will provide client care under supervision, assist with care plans and group programmes, prepare equipment, manage supplies, and handle administrative tasks and inquiries.

This is a permanent full-time role in Bundaberg. This position offers salary packaging, Not-for-Profit salary packaging options, penalties & allowances, and

  • Identify and report client circumstances that require additional input from our Allied Health Professionals
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of equipment and resources required for services & programme delivery, monitor, order and distribute offices supplies
  • Provide administrative support as requested
  • Address enquiries efficiently and effectively providing accurate information within the scope of the position or coordinating messages and referral to relevant staff.

  • Employment Term: Permanent Full Time
  • Location: Bundaberg Allied Health
  • Remuneration: $34.50 to $36.32 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
  • Classification: PO1.1 to PO1.3 dependant on experience

Working under the supervision of our Senior Allied Health Professionals, you will support the team with the delivery of Allied Health services and general running of the Allied Health department.

In this position, you will:
  • Provide quality client care under the clinical supervision of an Allied Health Professional,
  • Assist in the implementation of client care plans and programmes both individualised and group,
