Job summary

ConsMin’s Pilbara operation in Western Australia seeks skilled mining operators to join the Woodie Woodie Mine and West Perth Operations. You will operate excavators, graders, dozers, dump trucks, and water carts in a major open pit mining environment.

The role requires current police clearance, extensive machine experience, and a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies. Excellent camp facilities and a supportive site culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Clear National Police Clearance (Issued no earlier than 6 months).
• Significant experience operating mining mobile plant in open pit production environments.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate mining mobile plant including Excavators (Cat 6020B/Ex 3600), Graders (Cat 16M/18M), Dozers (D10T family, 854K), Front End Loader (Cat 992), Dump Trucks (777F/G, 789), Water Carts (777F).
• Perform Dozer tasks such as floor clean ups and drill pattern prep; maintain RL and topsoil areas.
• Maintain haul roads with proper camber and crown; support pit haul road and running track maintenance; assist with drill pattern prep.
• Provide back-up Excavator operator support in production settings.
• Hot seating on site or fill in for Dump Truck tasks when short staffed.

ConsMin’s Pilbara based Woodie Woodie Mine and West Perth Operations headquarters creates jobs for over 500 likeminded, experienced and talented people who are driven by our Company Values of Dedication, Teamwork, Simplicity, Excellence and Innovation.

Reporting to the Team Lead Mining, the successful applicants will be required to:

• Operate various mining mobile plant which consists of predominantly: Excavators - Cat 6020B andEx 3600, Graders:-Cat Graders 16M and 18M, Dozers: Cat D10T & D10T2 & 854K, FEL; Cat 992, Dump Trucks: 777F/G and 789 and Cat Water Carts: 777F
• Dozer task - consist of Floor clean ups to dig RL, Drill pattern preparation, Waste dump pushing and keeping RL correct and Clearing topsoil areas
• Grader task - maintaining haul roads (able to keep camber and Crown on roads), Pit haul roads and running track maintenance and Drill pattern preparation
• Excavator task – Backup operator as required, in a production environment
• Dump Truck task – Hot seating is performed on site or fill in when short staffed

To be successful in this role you will have:
