Job summary

Macmahon Holdings Limited in Tropicana, WA, is seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to join our surface mining team. You’ll work with dozers, loaders, graders, dump trucks, and excavators, on day and night shifts, FIFO from Perth and Kalgoorlie.

You’ll operate safely, complete pre-starts, report hazards, follow plans and traffic rules, keep your area tidy, and contribute to our people-first culture and Winning Values.

Role Details

• Location: Tropicana, WA
• Roster: 2:1, day shift and night shift
• FIFO from Perth and Kalgoorlie

About the Role

You’ll work within a skilled and experienced team, operating heavy ancillary and production mining equipment to safely meet production targets across our Surface operation at Tropicana.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in mining operating the following equipment:
• Dozers - CAT D11 | D10 | 854K Wheel Dozer
• Loaders - CAT 993 | 992
• Graders - CAT 18M | 16M
• Dump Trucks - CAT 793F
• Excavators - CAT 6060 | 6040 or Hitachi 5600 (highly desired but not essential)
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic
• Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
