Job summary

Aje Collective in Burnside is seeking a Part Time Inventory lead to deliver exceptional customer service and manage stock across the store. You will educate customers on sustainable fabrics, features, and fit while acting as a brand ambassador.

Responsibilities include processing sales at the POS, receiving shipments, stocking, and coordinating floor-to-door transactions. You will lead by example, train team members, and support the opening/closing of the store.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide impeccable customer service and educate customers on product features.
• Process sales accurately through cash handling and the POS system.
• Receive, inspect and unpack shipments; manage stock and labels.
• Oversee floor-to-door transactions, click and collect, and ship-from-store.
• Rotate stock, report discrepancies, and support back-of-house stock access.
• Assist in opening/closing the store and coordinate with management.
• Lead by example and support senior staff in daily operations.

About this opportunity:

Join icon fashion house Aj e as a Part Time Inventory lead at our Burnside store.

Customer Service

• Providing impeccable customer service to all customers
• Creating a personalised shopping experience for the Aje customer, by effectively educating the customer on the sustainable fabrics, features, fit, and functionality of the product.
• Acting as a brand ambassador driven by your love for the brand
• Processing sales accurately through cash handling and the POS (point of sale) system

Inventory Management:

• Actioning and managing all Floor to Door transactions, Click and Collects and Ship from store transactions in a timely manner
• Receive, inspect and unpack all incoming shipments, highlighting any discrepancies, damages and delays
• Process damaged stock on a timely basis according to company guidelines
• Accepting new deliveries and ensuring stock is unpacked, neat and tidy with correct labels attached
• Managing fortnightly stock rotation from 'home" back room to offsite (If the home has an offsite)
• Reporting, investigatingand managing stock discrepancies efficiently
• Work with management team to understand sales trends and arrange back of house stock to ensure trending items can be accessed in a timely manner
• Ensuring product labels are constantly maintained to reflect accurate stock position for functionality

• Ability to lift up to 16kg
• Visual Merchandising Experience
