Job summary

Ampol Limited is hiring a part-time refueller at Sydney Airport. This permanent, part-time role suits someone seeking a career change with an interest in Aviation Operations and refuelling.

A six to eight week training program will cover both practical and theoretical knowledge to perform refuelling with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. You will drive on the tarmac, work with other operations staff, and ensure safe, accurate fuel handling in line with airport requirements.

About the role

This is an exciting Permanent Part-Timeopportunityat Sydney Airport for someone who is motivated andseekingfor a career change and has an interest in Aviation Operations and refuelling. We provide a6-8weeksextensive training program that will provide you with all the knowledge (both practical and theory) to be a successful refueller. The role involves driving on the tarmac and working alongside other operations, refuelling planes with a focus on safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring thorough understanding of the procedures for Refuelling tasks
• Ensure pre-shift or pre-start inspections are carried, recording and documenting as required
• Adhere to procedures and safety
• Ensure minor vehicle and equipment is well presented and maintenance is carried out in a timely manner
• Routine quality checks

We are seeking individuals who display a can-do attitude and high attention to detail. You will look after all aspects of refuelling as per the company policies and procedures and operate in line with requirement of the Airport legislations. You have a strong knowledge and experience of safe working principles and display high awareness for hazards in the workplace. A current MR licence is desirable.
