Job summary

Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Projects team and help deliver a diverse portfolio of airfield infrastructure across the QAL network.

You will work with the Engineering Manager - Airfield Infrastructure to plan, procure, deliver and commercially manage projects that support safe airport operations, engaging with contractors, consultants and regulators to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Civil Engineering or Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Exposure to contractor management, contract administration and project controls.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and prioritisation skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support airfield infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and key stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Assist with project planning, procurement, contract administration and commercial management.
• Monitor project progress, risks, quality and reporting requirements.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across operational, technical and regulatory environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and project governance.
