Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking an Airfield Coordination Officer to support safe planning and coordination of airfield works across the campus. You will work with internal teams, contractors and regulators to ensure airside activities are planned, communicated and delivered in line with regulatory requirements and safety priorities.

Qualifications

• Aerodrome Reporting Officer or Work Safety Officer qualification with aviation experience.
• CASA radio licence and an Australian driver's licence.
• Solid understanding of workplace safety and health requirements in operations.
• Strong computer skills; confident with documentation and reporting tools.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and preparing clear reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Thrives in a dynamic environment; adapts to changing priorities under pressure.
• Builds positive relationships with integrity, accountability and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop airfield works plans with stakeholders and operations.
• Review airside works documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Plan and coordinate runway maintenance, closures and restrictions.
• Conduct inspections and oversee works per approved plans and safety.
• Monitor scheduling and administration of contract Work Safety Officers.
• Communicate planned works and access requirements to stakeholders.
• Assist with investigations, incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
