Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking a proactive Ramp Safety & Airfield Optimisation Manager to support safety, efficiency and continuous improvement across airfield operations in Perth, Australia. You will coordinate the Ramp Safety Committee, implement airfield safety initiatives and manage GSE allocation programs while driving change and project delivery in line with CASA standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation airfield operations and safety.
• Knowledge of CASA standards and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate across stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ICAM incident investigation experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer Ramp Safety Committee, including planning, communications and action tracking.
• Develop and deliver airfield safety campaigns and initiatives.
• Support incident investigations and ensure follow-up actions are documented.
• Develop and maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) allocation plans and related arrangements.
• Coordinate operational improvements that enhance airside safety and service delivery.
• Lead airfield optimisation projects and manage change across the airfield environment.
• Promote compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.
